To Gavin McCoy (8th
grade) and Jeromee Russell (6th grade) for bringing home Silver Medals
from the F.I.R.S.T. Lego League Regional competition, held at the
University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, on December 10, 2005.

St. Dorothy Family School Association has three objectives:

The
object of this association shall be the advancement of Catholic
education and the spiritual and physical welfare of all the children of
St. Dorothy's School.
-
It
shall further be to act in the promotion of parent and school
communication, to facilitate parent networking and to provide educational
opportunities for its members in the areas of faith, education and
civic affairs.
-
Finally, it shall attempt to enhance the role of the parent and teachers in
the education of the child by increasing the mutual understanding of
children and also by providing an opportunity for parents and teachers
to work together for the good of the child and to grow in mutual respect
and concern.
Meetings are held every other month and are open to parents and
parishioners.
Some activities scheduled by the FSA includes the school jacket sale,
annual Halloween party, Scholastic Book Fair, workshops, and much
more.
Family and School Association would like to
thank all of those who supported the Annual Book Fair. A special thanks
